Minor in UI-UX Design

User Experience is omnipresent in today’s world; it is a field that spans across all design disciplines. Recognizing this, Indus Design School introduces a Minor Elective Course in UX UI Design (User Experience & User Interface Design).
This collaboration between an interdisciplinary course and major design disciplines offers students greater versatility and strength, enabling them to go beyond the conventional boundaries. This interdisciplinary approach provides students with the opportunity to dive deeper into research and innovation within their chosen design discipline. The course encompasses essential elements such as Design Thinking, Virtual Product Design, Prototyping, UI Design, Service Design, Branding, Strategic Management Design, and Campaign Design. These components equip students with a comprehensive understanding of UX UI Design and how to integrate it into their major fields through hands-on projects.
Course Structure
- IDS provides a field for students to design out of the box, to see what holds in the other design cups, and delve deep into problem-solving to create innovative solutions.
- The field of User Experience Design, a broad and multifaceted area, offers students a multitude of opportunities for exploration. Beyond digital user experiences, the course encompasses service design, product design, and campaign design.
- The courses allow the students to traverse beyond boundaries, enabling them to build their creative confidence through Design Thinking.
- User Experience Design isn’t confined to the classroom; it’s a hands-on experience. Students engage in user research everywhere, meeting new people, analyzing their problems, and crafting solutions.
