Born in 1959 in Kilimanoor, Kerala, sculptor @g.reghu_studio has been working with ceramic clay for over three decades. Clay is more than just a material, he uses the stoneware form of clay and having worked for so long with this medium he is now adept at customising it to suit his requirements. Reghu’s figures and themes stem from the rural area of Wayanad and Bastar and the aesthetic language of his work and affinity for indigenous materials stem from some of the early influences in his life from Elizabeth Baker, Laurie Baker.
