A week-long Orientation Program (25th July 2023 – 28th July 2023) was organized for new batch 2023 students to familiarize them with the University guidelines and norms. The orientation program also aims at community building through various activities like Guest talks (By Mr. Andre Vitareli and Dr. Nayna Bhandari).

Academic presentations (Executive President, Executive Vice president, Registrar, Dy. Registrar, HOD Design), and workshops (by Faculty and Industry Expert Ms. Aditi Gupta). Through this program, students understand various aspects of academics as well as the culture of the university and specifically the Design Department.

Apart from this, Faculty coordinator of each department of Design address students with their Department and course curriculum along with the Learning outcomes. Various activities were also organized to let students understand the work done by current students of the Design Department as a whole. Also, interaction sessions with Alumni were organized to understand the scope of the design and their learning at the Indus Design School during their tenure with the University.
